How to Backup a Database - Plesk 10

 

Here we will instruct you how to create a backup of your database using the Plesk Backup Manager.
  1. Login to the Plesk control panel.
  2. Click the Domains link found in the navigation bar (in the upper, left-hand portion of the page).
  3. On the displayed page select your domain.
  4. Click the Backup Manager icon from the File section.
  5. Under the Tools section, click "Database Backup Repository".
  6. Click "Back Up".
  7. Select the database you want to back up.
  8. Enter a name for the back up file and click "OK".
  9. Click on the link to download the back up file.
  10. Select the location on your computer where you want to download the file. The backup will then be downloaded to your machine.
